I hope everyone is having a great September Weekend!<\/p>\n

Just in case you are looking for any activities to do at home, I thought I would share a few simple ideas.<\/p>\n

Counting<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Using a cereal box, scissors, a pen and some pegs I made these simple number cards.\u00a0 Encourage your child to count out the number of pegs that they need.\u00a0 Then attach them to the card.<\/p>\n

Here, I used an egg box, pen and some pasta.\u00a0 I wrote numbers in the sections of the box and your child can try to count out pasta pieces to match the number.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Using toy blocks you can encourage your child to build towers or whatever they would like.<\/p>\n

Below I have used them to create a simple pattern.\u00a0 Encourage your child to try and create their own patterns.<\/p>\n

You may also wish to use the Top Marks website for some maths games that your child could play which reinforce counting, numbers, shapes and money etc.<\/p>\n
