On this sunny day, we took advantage of the shade that the woods provide and we played out there for nearly an hour this morning.<\/p>\n

We used \u201ctapping sticks\u201d to count up and backwards as well as starting with different numbers. \u00a0We used them to count the syllables in our names.<\/p>\n

Then we counted and collected 10 sticks each. \u00a0We had to measure them against our arms to make sure that they were no longer than the space between our fingertips to our elbows. \u00a0Then we created pictures with them.<\/p>\n

We also had a number hunt and created our own number line. \u00a0In between all that, we climbed some trees and trekked around the pitch.<\/p>\n
