Lots of counting, pouring and filling , valentines fun and learning/talking about feelings for ‘Mental Health Awareness Week” .

Patterns
This week we have been exploring patterns. We have been talking about colours and shapes and using this knowledge to create our own patterns. Some of us have even drawn our own patterns.
Can you help?
Can you help? We are looking for some wall clocks and a pasta making machine – if you have any lying around collecting dust can you please let Mrs Murray know. Thank you 💛
A busy Monday
Lots of pattern, matching quantity to a number and loose part play.
It’s Friday again!
More cake baking, planting seeds to grow flowers for the bees and lots more play, learning today!
Yellow Group
The Yellow Group enjoyed a day in the woods yesterday! They showed great imagination and adventure.
First day of February!
What a busy morning – Humpty Dumpty activities have been everywhere, todays baking was a cake and many of the children have been enjoying our new ‘reading den’.
Wet Woodland Adventure
The Orange Group went on a woodland adventure today with some of the other children who had missed their group day. It was wild and windy but they still had great fun!
Last day of January
Banana and oat breakfast bars were baked today. Outside the children were experimenting with forces and indoors, amongst other learning , they created their own farms in the playdough.
Flapjacks
For an extra snack today we made flapjacks. The children had to spoon, weigh, mix, cook and time – but best of all they bottom eat them! Yum! 😍
