Today a few of us visited Primary 4 to a special book festival that the Primary 4’s had organised. They had written their own books – some were non-fiction and some were fiction.
We were able to go around their stalls and look at their books, posters and advertising that they had completed.
They had been very busy carrying out research to give them enough information for their books. They included lots of different topics from football to wolves.
We made the most of today’s glorious weather and enjoyed a picnic lunch, in the school grounds. It was great practice for our trip next week and we all had great fun! 💛 ☀️ 🥪 🧺
Mrs Murray will be leading the walking group on Friday the 2nd June at 9.15am.
We are going to take a walk down to the Mearns Library and would love to take the children of the mums attending. Please let Mrs Murray know if you are able to attend.
Thank you. 💛
Continuing our Italian themed cooking extravaganza, we are hoping to make ice cream with the children next week. In order to do this – we are looking to borrow an ice cream maker for the week. Do you or do you know anyone who could lend us one? 💛
