We had a lovely walk and a wee ‘blether’ this morning! 💛 Watch our for the next date and hopefully you can join us.

Through Mearns Masters – The Campaigners – the children were very focused on how we could best look after hedgehogs. They looked on the internet and through books and learned that hedgehogs were prone to becoming obese. They then planned and built their very own hedgehog hotel complete with gym!

The nocturnal animal today is a fox! The children have also been busy counting and continuing to find and make 2D shapes.

A wee reminder that Mrs Murray’s Walking Group will be on Tuesday 20th September. Please do join – it’s a great opportunity to catch up/meet other parents, get fit and have a ‘blether’. If you can make it please meet Mrs Murray at nursery entrance 9 for 9.15am start! 💛

We continued learning about nocturnal animals and made owls. We also started our musicality programme amongst other learning.

Through Mearns Masters the children have been learning about hedgehogs – we have been painting hedgehogs, making clay hedgehogs and looking for places that they may live in the nursery garden amongst lots of other play and learning.
