Wet Friday!

The children have been using their problem solving skills outside. Due to the  heavy rain one of our drains is blocked! The children used dishes, spades and even a tractor to help Mrs Aitken move the water from the blocked drain to the other drain! Great teamwork! We have also been creating art as a team amongst other play today!

Gym Fun

We made the most of the gym today as the weather was so bad! Following the childrens interest of transport – we played a variety of games moving around the gym as cars, trains, tractors, scooters and many more vehicles. We also played a game of transport corners and had a transport yoga themed cool down! Great fun! 💛

Dragonfly Stories

The children became authors and wrote their own stories. We had many different stories ranging from Spider-Man to the Gingerbread Man. The children then sat around the stage and took turns to act the different stories out! We had great fun! I wonder if you can guess who some of the characters are from the photos?

Number Hunts

What  better way to spend a wet Tuesday than going on a number hunt around the school. We identified numbers, we counted items and even counted the stairs as we went up and down! Lots of other fun in nursery today creating banana people and building the London Bridge – I wonder if it will fall down? 💛
