Yesterday we hiked over to the woods at the side of the pitch. On our way to the woods we talked about the story “Going on a Bear Hunt.” We didn’t find any this time.
While we were in the woods we counted leaves on little branches and we also made wands. We found sticks, counted 10 leaves and added them to our magic stick wands.
Before we left the woods we sang some songs including “Rain, rain go away” as the rain had started to fall.
One of my favourite stories is ‘Going on a Bear Hunt’. This looks like so much fun and great counting everyone! 🐻🍃 💛
We didn’t find any bears, thankfully! We enjoyed retelling the story though!
