Today we have been exploring the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. Some of the children had asked ‘What is a harp?’
We were incredibly lucky to be able to answers this question, by allowing the children to hear a harp and for them to be given an opportunity to play a harp through Alexander’s Dad. A huge thank you from us all!

Hola Gruffalo
We were treated to the story of ‘The Gruffalo’ in Spanish today by Alexander’s Dad. We loved working out which Spanish word meant owl, fox, snake and of course mouse.
Monday learnng
Today we had playdough spiders, writing in green paint and some amazing drawings of fishtanks amongst lots of other learning.
Leaving on a jet plane
The children designed, built and painted their own jet plane to take their ‘banana people’ on holiday ! We think they made a terrific job and hope they enjoy some fun in the sun! 🌞✈️
Wet Friday!
The children have been using their problem solving skills outside. Due to the heavy rain one of our drains is blocked! The children used dishes, spades and even a tractor to help Mrs Aitken move the water from the blocked drain to the other drain! Great teamwork! We have also been creating art as a team amongst other play today!

Gym Fun
We made the most of the gym today as the weather was so bad! Following the childrens interest of transport – we played a variety of games moving around the gym as cars, trains, tractors, scooters and many more vehicles. We also played a game of transport corners and had a transport yoga themed cool down! Great fun! 💛
