Friday!
What a busy week we have had! So much fun! We loved the last of the stay and play sessions! We would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Jagdale for showing and helping the children to make lanterns whilst learning about Diwali. We also enjoyed cooking with Mrs Zaheer and Mrs Rafay sweet rice (Zarda) and pakora – delicious!
Walking Group Reminder
A wee reminder that Mrs Murray’s walking group will be leaving the nursery tomorrow at 9.15am. Please do come and join for a wee blether and walk! Hope to see you tomorrow 💛
Stay and Play
The children are loving having their grown ups come to nursery and stay and play with them! We have been enjoying lots of spooky activities and provocations. 🎃
Spooktacular fun this week
We have been enjoying welcoming parents to ‘stay and play’ this week and to join in some of our spooky play!
Happy Holidays
Wishing all our families a lovely October break – see you all on the Tuesday the 25th October! Click on link below for our Friday cheer!
Jack and the Beanstalk
The children loved the story of Jack and the Beanstalk so much they decided to create their own. After a lot of planning, cutting, gathering, sticking they made a huge beanstalk. They then wrote all their names on the leaves and measured their height next to the beanstalk. There was great use of language to compare and discuss height – tall, taller and tallest etc
Friyay!!!
We have been building, rolling dice and identifying numbers, measuring and planting bulbs in our nursery garden.
A Wet Wednesday
We are all suited and booted and making the most of the wet weather by making water channels in the sand – great problem solving and teamwork!
