We loved making our own Christmas nibbles for our little class feast! There was;
– Santa Skewers
– Christmas tree bites

Today we have been learning how to measure in cm using a ruler. Mrs Stephenson was very impressed with our independence during this task. If you need anything measured at home over the holidays, just ask us!
We have been enjoying refining our cutting skills during our Mearns Masters sessions, continuing to chop a range of fruit and veg. We also made lovely salad sandwiches with the option of adding cheese or houmous. Some of us found these tasty and some of us didn’t. Additionally, as a special treat for St Andrews Day we tried shortbread fresh out the oven 🙂 We LOVED it!
We were so excited to see the snow through the window today that we just had to go outside and try catching some snow flakes.
5 minutes later we were back inside, it was freezing!
As part of our new Science focus on Forces and Motion, we went on a trip to Fairweather park. During our visit we considered whether we were using a push or pull force to make things go. On returning to school, we drew the different park equipment and labelled each with the correct force 🙂
