P2 enjoyed a wonderful sunny morning at Mains Farm.

    

“Mr Strang showed us where his hens live, a hen lays one egg a day” – Jessica

“The rooster doesn’t lay any eggs” – Oscar

“I got to feed a calf in the barn, it was very cute” – Amber

   

“I had a great time at the farm. The little calf let me put my thumb in its mouth” –  Luke

    

“Mr Strang has 326 cows, they have yellow tags on their ears with a number” – Rhona

“I put my whole hand inside its mouth, it felt wet and slobbery” – Archie

 

“The cows are milked twice a day, once at 4:30 am and the other at 3:00pm” – Blake

“

“The calf was so gentle, its mouth tickled my thumb” -Oliver

“We were so excited seeing the calves in the barn, they were extremely cute” – Cara, Macy and Freya

“It was really good fun seeing all the cute cows and calves” – Tom

 

“The calf wanted to suck my thumb, it was so gentle” – Ava
