Beware! There are dinosaurs around the village!

 Primary 1 have been learning some intersting vocabulary and facts about the different types of dinosaurs.  We have learned about carnivores and herbivores, taken notes while watching and listening for useful information and then made Fact Files to share our learning.

Planting.

As we explore and appreciate the wonder of nature. We are learning about plants and flowers.

We can look after flowers.

We enjoy planting.

Weather work

While learning outdoors in different weather we are learning to observe ,measure and record the weather.102_0651 

We made rain catchers and went out every day for a week to see how much rain had fallen.

Electricity

LI – to stay safe when using electricity

LI – To show the importance of electricity in our daily lives

The boys and girls went home to identify objects which use electricity in their house.

Archie (Green PM) enjoyed telling his friends about his new Scalextrix which he has to plug in because it needs electricity to make it work.
