Outdoors with P6!

Fair Trade Fortnight
 We learned about the Fair Trade logo and made bunting for the Big Break event. |
We went ‘bananas’ for Fair Trade chocolate dipped bananas and freshly squeezed orange juice. |
 The kitchen ladies made us chocolate dipped apples- yummy! |

Forces – pulling and pushing
Primary 1 have been applying their knowledge of forces to sledging!
They also worked as a team to make snow sculptures, using the appropriate vocabulary of 3D shape and comparative language during outdoor play.

Enterprising Actors
Primary 1 have been very busy writing to local businesses to ask for donations for hosting a tea, coffee and ‘sweet treat’ for parents and carers as part of our ‘Nativity’ experience.
A huge thanks to Morrisons Giffnock, Coop Clarkston, Scotmid and Eaglesham Bakers. P1 & P2 have been busy making cakes and biscuits. We are hoping that ‘donations’ will be plentiful. All donations will be given to Glasgow Children’s Hospital.
