We were learning to explore patterns and creating our own patterns.
We tried to make our own patterns using three colours .

Weather work
While learning outdoors in different weather we are learning to observe ,measure and record the weather.
We made rain catchers and went out every day for a week to see how much rain had fallen.

Orry walks
Children are enjoying the Orry walks.
The children were given a challenge to make a tower. But what could we use as we have no lego or stickle bricks in the Orry? The children choose to use the stones we had collected.

Fairtrade Fortnight
Eaglesham Primary School and Nursery Class are Global Citizens and have been learning all about Fairtrade.
LI – To make decisions and take responsibility in my everyday experiences and play, showing consideration for others.
We brought in lots of Fairtrade items and packaging we had discovered at home.

In Drama, we acted out the farmer’s quest for a “Fairtrade for a fair day’s work.”

Electricity
LI – to stay safe when using electricity
LI – To show the importance of electricity in our daily lives
The boys and girls went home to identify objects which use electricity in their house.
Archie (Green PM) enjoyed telling his friends about his new Scalextrix which he has to plug in because it needs electricity to make it work.

The children brought in food for our Harvest Celebration. Mrs Law came to visit us to tell us all about the Food Bank.
Fun with Autumn leaves at the Orry!
We have been learning to cross the road safely when walking to the Orry.
We have been exploring how local shops and services provide us with what we need in our daily lives.
