Our class ‘rules’!!

We have had a very busy but fun week in Primary One.  During our phonics activities, we have been learning the letter names and sounds for h, c and e.

In  Numeracy and Mathematics we have been learning to sort and order numbers to ten.

“We made apples by scrunching the little tissue papers up and made them into apples.  It will be a Rosh Hashanah card.   Mrs Rosenberg has been teaching us songs too. We dipped the apple in the honey for a taste to try it out.”

Miriam

“We are making our class rules. Nobody is allowed to run through the class corridors because if a teacher hears you, you might get into big trouble.  We need rules so we don’t get hurt and you want to learn to be good and kind.   We don’t hurt people and you tell the truth.”

Harry

“We went to P.E. We took the balls for a walk.  If it ran away you put your foot on it.  It was easy.  We played tunnel tig and toilet tig.  People chased me and didn’t get me.”
