This may involve advice and guidance, including signposting families to information or supportive activities.<\/p>\n<p>Health Visitors can also provide early support through making changes or enhancements to how they support the child and family. This might include one-to-one activities, or group work, for example with Health Visitors signposting families to one of the East Renfrewshire \u2018Psychology of Parenting\u2019 Parenting programmes.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">Youth Counselling \u2013 Recovery Across Mental Health (RAMH)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">The East Renfrewshire Youth Counselling Service is delivered by RAMH (Recovery Against Mental Health).<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">This is a commissioned service by the HSCP. This targeted provision is available for all school pupils in<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">East Renfrewshire within all 7 secondary schools and is accessed via the Joint Support Teams (JST). Young<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">people are seen by a youth counsellor for approximately 8 sessions and issues such as weight management<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">and oral health needs; sexual or physical health needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">Intensive<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">Functional Family Therapy (FFT)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">Functional Family Therapy is an intensive commissioned service from the HSCP delivered by Action for Children.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">The FFT team work with young people and their parent(s) \/ main carers and other people who are important in<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">their lives. Most of the work is done with all the key people \u2018in the room\u2019 at the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">Intensive<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">School Nursing<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">The East Renfrewshire School Nursing service is aligned with the HSCP\u2019s Intensive Services. This recognises<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">that looked after and care experienced young people may be some of the most vulnerable known to services,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">often due to the trauma they have experienced.The school nurse provision works in a strength based and<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080\">relational manner and helps young people with issues such as weight management, oral, physical, and<br \/>\nsexual health needs.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Universal Midwives, Health Visitors and other partners work with parents and carers to support the healthy development of children and positive interaction between the child and the primary carers.
