Support for Parents

If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed or just need a little bit of support during this difficult time, then you are not alone.  The current situation means that many families are having to adapt to a completely different way of living with the additional pressures of: staying safe, working from home, entertaining children, and looking after emotional, physical and mental health.  This page will be updated with different supports specific to parents and caregivers.

Parent Club is a Scottish support system where different ideas, tips and resources are posted to support parents.  To join the club, all you need to do is sign up via email address.  Click on the link below to view the COVID-19 specific resources.

Young Minds run a Parents Helpline, free Mon-Fri from 9.30am to 4pm and an email service at https://youngminds.org.uk/contact-us/parents-helpline-enquiries/.  This service is friendly, confidential and available in many languages.
