World Thinking Day

It’s World Thinking Day today.  For those of you who were part of the Girl’s Scouting and Guiding Movement in your youth, perhaps you knew that anyway.

World Thinking Day is a day of friendship, advocacy and fundraising for 10 million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world. It has been celebrated since 1926.

There are some great resources and activities on their website:

Ofcourse, you don’t have to be a Scout or Guide – you don’t even have to be a girl – to resolve to spend more time thinking.  Perhaps we should take this idea on board and set time aside each day to think.

For me, I’ll be using the time to count my blessings and think about how fortunate I am.
