According to the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH), one in ten 5-16 year olds has a mental health problem. In our schools – in our classes – right now. This makes the contribution of teachers and school staff to the mental wellbeing of Scotland’s children and young people vital.
SAMH is undertaking research on mental health and education, to see how they can support schools to support children and young people in nurturing positive mental health and wellbeing.
