We have enjoyed linking our learning across the different curricular areas to our mini topic. Here are a few things we have been up to:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maths<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We looked at Stomachion puzzles as created by Archimedes and had to create different shapes using only 14 pieces from the Stomachion square. This was extremely challenging and taught us about persevering and never giving up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have learned about Greek Gods\/Goddesses and had a go at creating our own. We then wrote poems using an Ancient Greece theme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STEM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of our learning through play on a Friday afternoon, we had a chance at building structures from
