This week we had a big focus on recipe writing. First we learned about imperative (bossy) verbs these tell us to do something. Like, put on your shoes! We played a verb game were we had to roll the dice and complete the action. E.g. Sing a song! This helped us learn about verbs. We worked really to write recipes based on George’s Marvellous Medicine and shared them with each other.<\/p>\n

“I liked writing the recipe because I thought it was really fun!” Sophia<\/p>\n

“I liked writing the method for the medicine!” Kate<\/p>\n

“My favourite ingredient was James’ joyful ice cream sprinkles!” James<\/p>\n
