Hello again reader, we have been busy this week!<\/p>\n

Read on to find out more \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

We have been working hard on poetry and are looking forward to sharing some of it at our Spring Showcase. For one of these lessons we learned about haikus! A haiku is a Japanese poem which has a specific structure, often describing nature.<\/p>\n

“We had to write only 3 lines. The first with 5 syllables, the 2nd with 7 and the last one with 5 syllables again.” Ryan<\/p>\n

“I loved writing the haikus and completed 5 today!” Isla<\/p>\n

“Today Ryan and I spoke to the whole school at assembly and taught everyone about an Iranian celebration, called Nowruz. This is Iranian New Year. I felt a bit nervous but also excited!” Elay<\/p>\n
