We have been developing our dictionary skills in Primary 3A. We have been using our knowledge of the alphabet to help us find words in the dictionary. Being able to use a dictionary helps us to become more independent when spelling words and also find out the meaning of words.

Depending on the letter the word starts with we now know to go to the beginning, middle or end of the dictionary to start our search.

We will be progressing onto searching for words starting with the same letter where we need to use the second letter to help us find the word.
