The boys and girls have all settled really well into Primary 1 and have enjoyed exploring the classroom and making new friends. I will be able to post photos of the children’s faces for our next blog post.<\/p>\n

We’ve begun to learn our sounds and have been learning how to work independently on our ‘targets’.\u00a0 We’ve focused on writing our names, and drawing about stories we’ve been reading together.<\/p>\n

We created a class charter and talked about ways we can make sure the class is a happy place for everyone. We all contributed excellent ideas.<\/p>\n

We have\u00a0 a class bear we’ve named Rosie. We’ve played lots of games with Rosie and taken her on a tour of the school. She’s started to go home with different members of the class at the weekend and we’re all enjoying reading what she’s been up to!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
