We had a great time celebrating World Book Day (we made it World Book week) in\u00a0March by listening to and working on Fantastic Mr Fox \ud83e\udd8a<\/p>\n

First we learned about alliteration.<\/p>\n

\nThen we used what we had been learning about the different characters in the story to write a character description.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

After that we discussed how the farmers were feeling and we created \u2018wanted\u2019 posters for Mr Fox.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nWe enjoyed using the puppets in the theatre to retell parts of the story.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Finally, we made fox masks and recreated the fantastic feast from the book by chopping fruit and making fruit kebabs.
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We were delighted to receive our World Book Day books and we enjoyed reading them in class.<\/p>\n
