Primary 1.2 have had lots of fun learning new things this month. We have all settled in really well and know our school routines really well.<\/p>\n

We have enjoyed using our new playdough station where we can practise ‘dough disco’ to work on our fine motor skills.<\/p>\n

We also have a new block area outside the classroom that we share with Primary 1.1. We enjoy socialising with our friends and building larger construction items.<\/p>\n

In the art area, we have been learning new techniques in the junk modelling. Thank you for donating your recycling! We have loved creating robots, vehicles and binoculars.<\/p>\n

In Art, we learned about the primary colours and had fun creating colour mixing posters.<\/p>\n

In Health and Wellbeing we talked about how to manage our emotions. We read the story ‘The Colour Monster’ and discussed what different emotions the monster had. We then acted out some strategies for dealing with our feelings and emotions and created a class feelings check in.<\/p>\n

In Muddy Movers, Primary 1.2 have been exploring water, balance and movement. We have also been building castles, inspired by our Fairytale topic. This week we invited our Primary 5 buddies to come and join us! We also found some blackberries in the Muddy Movers area and enjoyed a tasty snack.<\/p>\n
