Hi everybody,
Primary 2 have had a busy March and are excited to see Spring beginning to appear.
In maths, the squares and the triangles have been learning about capacity. We have had lots of fun at the water station discovering how many cups and spoons of water different items hold and know that our unit of measure for capacity is millilitres.

In PE, we have been learning about rebound games. We were also very lucky to receive a lesson from a tennis coach which was such good fun!

On World Book Day, we had a visit from Primary 4. We read some books together with them and Mrs Denny was so impressed with our reading skills! We also did a range of reading activities to celebrate World Book Day.

In music, we have been learning about the pulse of music. We used a range of instrument and our bodies to find the pulse of different songs.

Everybody did an excellent job standing in front of the class to present solo talks this month. I loved listening to them all and learned so much from everybody!

Finally, we celebrated Red Nose Day today. Here we are all dressed in red. We also got to take part in some activities in the gym hall.

That’s all for this month,
Miss Donaldson and P2/1
