What successful September we have had with lots of new learning. We have been exploring 2d shapes and discovered that shapes are all around us. We found shapes including circles, squares, rectangles and triangles, in our playground and recorded them on on Shape Hunt sheet.

Outdoor Learning

During our outdoor learning days we have been exploring measure. We went on a walk to collect sticks and then ordered them shortest to tallest. We measured our sticks with non-standard units. We were challenged to draw different lines using chalk, for example lines longer than us and shorter than us. We measured different lines using cubes.

Collaborative Learning
Our buddies from Primary 5 came to visit us and read us their Mr Men and Little Miss stories they invented. They then worked with us to help us create our own character and give our character a name. We can’t wait to work alongside Primary 5 again.

PE

In PE, we are learning to improve our levels of fitness through taking part in different fitness stations.
