Hi everybody,
It was lovely speaking to you all at parents’ nights this week. Primary 2/2 have had a very enjoyable March!
In muddy movers, we have been investigating ramps and how we can impact speed. In groups, we worked to make courses where a ball will roll from beginning to end and could be caught. We had a great time!
In PE, we have been working on our badminton skills. We’ve improved a lot and enjoy playing and creating rallies.
We were lucky to be visited by the fire service (including David’s dad!) this month who taught us all about the equipment in fire engines and their purposes. We even got to use the hose!
For World Book Day, we all brought in our favourite book from home. We enjoyed sharing information about these books with our classmates and taking some time to enjoy reading them. We also got to visit the book fair and visited the library to collect a free book each.
We have started learning Mandarin with Miss Xu and are learning lots of new words through games and activities!
Finally, we dressed in red today to raise money for Red Nose Day. We took part in lots of fun activities down in the gym hall. Thank you to the house captains for organising this!
Enjoy the Easter holidays when they come!
Miss Donaldson and P2/2
