We have been learning all about Autumn. We have been going on walks around the school grounds to spot signs of Autumn. In the Muddy Movers Area we have been looking for a good spot to build a hedgehog house.<\/p>\n

Primary 1 have further explored the Seek app on the iPad in the Muddy Movers area. We discovered so many amazing plants we have right outside and also some creatures we find each week at Muddy Movers. Check it out below!<\/p>\n

In Literacy we were learning about sequencing and writing our own instructions. We linked this with how to carve a pumpkin. In class, we followed the instructions we had written to tell Miss Payne the steps of carving\ud83e\ude9b. \u00a0We then had a \u201cPuking Pumpkin\u201d experiment where we added bicarbonate of soda, food colouring and white vinegar to a pumpkin. We saw a chemical reaction and identified that when mixing these things together it creates a foam!\ud83c\udf83\ud83e\uddea<\/p>\n
