Love Bugs ๐Ÿž๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿงต

For Valentines Day we made some Love Bugs! We learned some basic sewing skills and created our own handmade bugs. First, we gathered our materials, including fabric, thread and soft stuffing. We carefully cut out our shapes and used simple stitches to sew the pieces together. After sewing around the edges, we filled our Love Bugs with stuffing to make them soft and puffy. This activity helped us practise using basic stitches, develop our sewing and fine motor skills. We had so much fun!!๐Ÿงต๐Ÿž

Andy Warhol Inspired Valentines Art โค๏ธ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŽจ

We explored the colourful artwork of Andy Warhol and learned about his famous pop art style. We looked at some of his well-known pieces and noticed how he often repeated the same image using bright, bold colours. Inspired by this, we created our own repeat pattern clip art based on Love Hearts sweets. Before painting, we studied the colour wheel to help us choose colours that work well together. Using these ideas, we designed bright and fun patterns that show our understanding of colour and repetition, just like Warholโ€™s pop art. ๐ŸŽจ
