Letβs take a look back at Primary 4βs jam packed Term 1! π
In October, Primary 4 had great fun creating their hauntedΒ Halloween windows. The children used oil pastels and practised their blending techniques to create spooky skies and glowing effects. They showed fantastic creativity and effort in their artwork. The class also enjoyed designing a Halloween costume for Miss Taylor to wear while trick-or-treating, which brought lots of laughter and excitement! ππ»

P4 Super Starsπ
We had lots of exciting show and tell time when Kai, Euan, Anna and Lucy brought in some fantastic items to share with the class! We saw a wand all the way from Hogwarts, some amazing rainforest artwork, learned some fun facts and some magnetic words that travelled all the way from New Zealand! We really enjoyed hearing all about them. πͺππ΄π
There were also lots of awards to be won. P4.2 are so proud of our peers! π

We started our new topic, The Rainforest and had lots of fun locating the different layers within the Amazon! Children also made their own detailed fact file on an animal of their choice. π³πππ¦

Our new novel, The Twits, was a big hit with the class! The children loved the story and threw themselves into all the activities. They designed their own colourful book covers, worked together to create fun group role plays, and even thought up their own silly tricks for Mr and Mrs Twit. They also did a fantastic job remembering and talking about what happened in the story. π΄π΅π¬

The Circles maths group worked incredibly hard while learning all about 2D shapes and showed fantastic effort and focus throughout. π

In ICT, we have been learning all about coding using Scratch. We were able to create short animations that included backgrounds, characters and movement. Well done, Primary 4! π©βπ»π§βπ»

Primary 4 had a great time logging on to a live session with the National Museum of Rural Life. We learned all about some amazing animals, their habitats and diets. π¦ππ¦‘
