The children got to celebrate world book day by walking to the library at the foundry to collect their books. \ud83d\udcda They got the chance to look at some books and their own. The fairytale maps were a huge hit trying to spot the different well known stories. \ud83d\udcd6\ud83e\uddda\ud83e\uddcc\ud83d\udc7b<\/p>\n

Also as part of the Big Walk and Wheel the children brought their bikes and scooters to school. The primary 7 house captains had different activities set up for them to participate in. They did really well with them, especially the speed test to see how fast they can go from one side to the other. \ud83d\udeb2\ud83d\udef4<\/p>\n

On Friday we also celebrated Red Nose Day. We learnt about the people that Red Nose Day helps. They joined in with some fun red nose activities in the gym hall.<\/p>\n

We also had 3 winners in our class. Alana and Matthew guessed the correct number of red noses in the jar, winning house points for their house. Erin guessed Gromit’s birthday\u00a0 correctly, winning the teddy to take home. \ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n
