Primary 1 have been so curious about learning more vocabulary in French. This week, we continued to practise our racquet and ball skills and learned the instructions for this in French.

 

Miss Payne encouraged us to de-code each word by looking at her actions. We were able to guess each word and follow the instruction!

Station 1:

Roll the ball into the goal (roulez le ballon).

Station 2:

Noughts and crosses (jeu de morpion). Throw (lancez) the bean bag.

Station 3:

Feed the animals, roll the ball (roulez le ballon).

Station 4:

Throw the bean bag into the bucket.

Station 5:

Throw the ball as far as you can.

Station 6:

Roll the ball to the target.

Some other instructions we have practised-

• Écoutez – listen
• Asseyez-vous – sit down
• Levez-vous – stand up
• Silence – quiet
• Entrez – come in
• Allez-y

We also practised some classroom instructions and have worked hard to remember these.
