A gentle reminder that all jewellery and earrings should be removed for P.E. Our day for P.E. is a Monday\ud83e\udd38\ud83c\udffc\u200d\u2642\ufe0f.<\/p>\n

We started this month off with Back to Front Uniform Day!<\/p>\n

In writing, we have been giving story-mapping a go. This helps us build on story sequencing skills, detailed drawings and retelling a story\u270d\ud83c\udffc\ud83d\udcd6.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We have been continuing to work on our addition stories and have enjoyed making these with the different resources around the classroom\u2795.<\/p>\n

In Maths, we have also been learning about direction. We created our own direction sequences and enjoyed testing these out on the BlueBots. Some of us decided to swap with a partner and test out their directions too\ud83d\uddfa\ud83e\udded!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We have been investigating positional language and enjoyed using our class teddy \u2018Arthur\u2019 to explore this. We enjoyed putting Arthur on top of, under, next to, behind and in front of the table.<\/p>\n

Our new Maths topic is measure. On Friday, we experimented with measuring worms and other non-standard units of measure to find out how long we were\ud83d\udccf.

Primary 1\/1 have also been learning about time and telling o\u2019clock times. We made our own clock and changed the time on this\ud83d\udd70!<\/p>\n

For our topic, we have been learning about our Local Area. The class have learned about different types of houses and experimented with different materials to build some of these\ud83c\udfe0\ud83c\udfd9.<\/p>\n

We have started brushing our teeth in class and can brush all of the teeth in our mouth, making sure we reach the ones all the way at the back. We do this everyday after lunch for 2 minutes to our teeth brushing song\ud83e\uddb7\ud83e\udea5.<\/p>\n
