Thank you to all the visitors who came to the Open Afternoon. We hope that you enjoyed  it!

A big well done to our  P4/1 representatives in the XA Factor. Your dancing was fab!!!!

We have an Experience and Outcome which encourages us to learn the skill of sewing. We had to create and cut a felt template of a little Bug to begin with. Next we then had to sew the Bug top on the bottom so that we could stuff it. We used a needle and thread to stitch around the edges. Some of us found this a challenge but in the end we persevered with a little teamwork and we are proud of our creations!

Primary 4 have been learning Mandarin this term and having a great time. We have been learning numbers and all about the New Year. We have been writing symbols and signing songs.

In PE wea re taking part in gymnastics lessons. We are developing our balance, strength, flexibility, agility and our coordination. We also just have some fun!

We had a great time at our Christmas Party today. We played lots of games and had a dancing competition. We also all danced to the Macarena!!!

We had an awesome afternoon thanks to the parent council. 2 of Santa’s reindeer came to visit. We got to feed them carrots and we sang them a few Christmas songs!!🎅🏻🎄🧑🏻‍🎄🦌

We have been learning about climate zones. We have looked at a lot of different climate zones around the world. We have discussed the idea of how can we can measure the climate. We came up with the idea of making our own rain gauges. We are worried that they may blow away but we have put  them outside! We will check on them regularly and measure  how much rainfall there will be over the coming weeks.

We had a fun day raising money for Children in Need. We had activities in the hall  to start with and then we had the chance to buy a range of toys and games.  What  a fun Friday!!!

We have been learning about different religions and celebrations.
The first thing we learnt was Hinduism. We learnt about Diwali being the festival of light and created our own Diwali art using different materials.
