It has been lovely to welcome everyone into our P2 class and all pupils have settled in well after the summer holidays.<\/p>\n

PE is on a Tuesday and Muddy Movers is on a Friday so please \u00a0ensure pupils have their PE kit and wellies with them\u00a0at school on these days.<\/p>\n

Homework will be issued on a Monday and due on Friday. \u00a0Reading should be completed every night.<\/p>\n

Miss Joiner will be with our class on a Tuesday.<\/p>\n

We have been working very hard and have been learning the sh and ch sound in literacy and pupils have been fantastic at identifying words with these sounds. \u00a0We have also been working on our number stories and have enjoyed measuring different objects and identifying 2D shapes in numeracy.<\/p>\n

In French, we have been learning our colours and can express our feelings.<\/p>\n

We have enjoyed working as a team in Muddy Movers to build a bridge with tyres and logs and have demonstrated \u00a0our balancing skills.<\/p>\n

We have celebrated our pupils\u2019 achievements at home for example Caleb camped out overnight to raise money for charity, Keeva was Star of the week at cheerleading and Grace completed the Summer Reading Challenge so \u00a0please continue to share these with us.<\/p>\n
