October has been a very busy month for Primary 6!<\/p>\n

We have enjoyed a visit from the Panto – Jack and the Beanstalk! This was a real treat.<\/p>\n

Our topic this term has been Titanic and we have been exploring life on board this ship.\u00a0 We took on the role of different characters that were on board the ship in a character hot seating activity. We had to identify which class each passenger was from based on the information provided during the interview.<\/p>\n

Then we became artists on board the Titanic and created portraits of our passengers we were focusing on the skill of shading.<\/p>\n

We had a very exciting treat from our local fire brigade they came to remind us all to be safe around fireworks. We also got to explore the fire engine and they explained how they used their equipment.<\/p>\n

In the lead up to Halloween we have been doing lots of spooky activities from writing ghost stories to creating our very own “The Ghostly Night”<\/p>\n
