The End of January 2020

We’ve had a very busy and fun January!

Here are some of the highlights …

Dancing the Gay Gordons and The Canadian Barn Dance with our friends from Primary 2.

Creating tartan with our Buddies from P5 – paper weaving and painting with cars wheels and brushes.

Trying on some Scottish clothes.

Making  tartan scarves for our soft toys.

Making our very own oatcakes and shortbread – we loved tasting these during our Scottish Teddy Bear’s Picnic.

Going for big walks around our school grounds – looking for rocks, birds, funny looking trees and muddy puddles!

Learning about a career as a vet from Shona and her dog Coo.

January 2020

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It was lovely to be back in class with P1/2 today.  All the children were very kind and helpful.

Everyone was happy to see their friends and we all worked very hard!

Everything in the room has changed around and we were all excited to try out new things.

We enjoyed creating patterns with 2D shapes and pins.

Our new Library was really popular today!

We talked about our favourite stories and we will display our drawings in the new Library corner.

Learning about 3D shapes…

Having a chat with our friends in our new Home Corner.

The girls loved the new writing area.

We created lots of interesting artwork ion the new art area.
