To celebrate Guy Fawkes night in school, we read the story of Guy Fawkes and discussed why we have bonfire night celebrations in the UK. Next we listened to the sounds of fireworks and looked at pictures of firework displays from around the world. We used this to help us write a descriptive poem about fireworks. In our poems we used similes, onomatopoeia and alliteration. We also used multicoloured oil pastels to create fireworks art. 🎇🧨🎆
