If you are having problems logging onto GLOW, please look for your password and username in your home learning pack which was given out at school. If you didn’t receive one of these, please contact the school using our email address and we can help you.

Good Morning boys and girls. Hope you’re all continuing to enjoy some exercise. Today my girls have talked me into trying the new Cosmic Yoga Trolls Adventure – Josh had recommended it last week and I did tell them about it! So I will need to look out my pink Poppy wig and yoga mat to join in. What exercise are you going to include in your day?

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend. I baked a carrot cake with my girls, it was a very messy activity but we had lots of fun weighing out the ingredient and it was absolutely delicious!
This week we have only 3 school days as Thursday is an in-service day for the teachers and Friday is a holiday. So we are not going to do our usual spelling tasks, I am going to challenge you to learn to spell the days of the week. I have put tasks in our Literacy plan to help you achieve this. You can do it!
I will be on Google Classroom throughout the day to help you, if needed, and remember just do what you can, you don’t need to complete all of the tasks.

Task 2 – We are learning about data handling.
Can you collect information from members of your family about their eye colour or hair colour? You might need to phone or send a message to some family members to check what colour they have!
Use tally marks to collect this information – use the sheet below to gather your tally marks, an adult might need to help draw it into your jotter.
Task 3 – Use your tally marks to create a bar chart to show your findings. Use a different colour for each bar and remember to use one box for one tally mark.

We are learning to use tally marks to count and collect data.

Remember we group tally marks in fives so that its easier to count the total. Put the first four tally marks standing up tall (IIII) and the fifth one goes diagonally across the first four (\)
