Good morning everyone. Today is the last day in April, what month will it be tomorrow and how many days are in that month?
Here are some tasks for today. Remember you don’t need to complete everything, just do what you can and what fits in around your day.
Literacy
Task 1
Writing – Hello to Spring! – draw a picture which shows your vision of this poem
Task 2
Active spelling – use the spelling grid provided in Home Learning Pack to choose a spelling activity – complete with all 10 words
Task 3
Oxford Owl Reading Resource – in the Classwork tab under Literacy please click on ‘Oxford Owl Reading Resource’ for instructions. Remember it is important for you to be able to read aloud yourself.

Task 2 – We are learning about data handling.
Can you collect information from members of your family about their eye colour or hair colour? You might need to phone or send a message to some family members to check what colour they have!
Use tally marks to collect this information – use the sheet below to gather your tally marks, an adult might need to help draw it into your jotter.
Task 3 – Use your tally marks to create a bar chart to show your findings. Use a different colour for each bar and remember to use one box for one tally mark.
