We have been learning how to stay safe while crossing the road. We learned the Green Cross Code and investigated safe places to cross in both the countryside and city.

We read a story about a girl called Molly who had to cross a busy car park in the dark – it was VERY DANGEROUS. We thought about how to ensure Molly could stay safe on dark autumn and winter nights. We learned about fluorescent colours and then designed our own stickers to put on our bags and jackets to ensure drivers could identify us when crossing the road.
