Time for a new topic! We are looking at the systems of the body! First up is the circulatory system. We learned that there is oxygenated blood and deoxygenated blood. The different sides of the heart deals with the different types.

We have been learning about Scottish artist and architect, Charles Ronnie Mackintosh, and creating our own versions of the MacKintosh rose.

We have advanced onto using Kinects for bridge building! P7 have tried to create a range of bridges to span the largest gap. We have suspension bridges, beam bridges with trusses and even cantilevers!

We well and truly got into the Christmas spirit at our Christmas party with loads of fun and games!,

Pupils in Primary 7 enjoyed visits from Barrhead High’s head teacher Mrs Johnson, and Mr Beaton, head of S1. They were able to find out about all the fantastic subjects and clubs available when they start next year.

Primary 7 LOVE  a jigsaw and are close to completing 1000 piece scene of Paris!!!

Pupils have been having some maths lessons with one of our Barrhead High teachers as part of their transition. Today was all about fractions, decimals and percentages.
