Microbits assemble!
The P7s have been making rock, paper, scissors game and playing with each other. The microbits have an accelerometer in them that can detect motion when coded for.

Primary 7 have been learning all about renewable energy and how important it is, and enjoyed a very educational visit from Scottish Power
Skeleton
Today the P7s were learning about the human skeleton and its importance. First we talked about its purpose and then researched the names of the bones.
To keep us creative we made our own X-rays using chalk and black paper.
P7 Microbits.
P7 have started coding the microbits. They are coding. They have coded for some basic displays and a name tag!

Our grow a fiver enterprise is getting very exciting. All companies have created and are now developing and packaging their merchandise. Next step will marketing and advertising!
Music with Barrhead High 
Primary 7 enjoyed a visit from Barrhead Highโs music department. . They learnt the correct stance to use when singing, how to use their breathing. and how to use the 5 natural microphones in their bodies.
Pupils can not wait to perform at the Barrhead High Showcase in June!!
Anti Smoking Posters
We have been learning about the respiratory system. One of the worst things you can do to your lungs is smoking. It stops Oxygen getting to your blood, creates a build up of tar and can cause cancer.
Look at our eye catching posters to warn people of the dangers!
Tower trouble!
Our little engineers are building the tallest structure they can using blocks. P7 tried several attempts to build and alter their structures to see which would not just be the strongest, but also the most stable.
