Primary 6 had a wonderful day at Glasgow Green. They spent the morning cycling on Go karts and bikes at “Free Wheel North”. Then enjoyed an outdoor lunch at Glasgow Green.
Finally, they visited The Peoples Palace before heading back to school.
The weather did not stop them having fun!!!

We are learning to cook with confidence and dexterity.
Today we weighed our pastry, cut our toppings and kneaded our dough to make pizza.

Today we visited The St Andrew Parish Church in Barrhead for an Easter service. The children had fun making Easter cards and participating in games and songs.

We are developing dexterity when working with textiles. Primary 6 have been sewing their love bugs and learning new sewing skills.

Primary 6 have been learning about balance and control. They have worked in pairs and groups to demonstrate their skills.

We wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This week the children have been learning through practical activities. The Squares are learning to identify the relationship between 3D objects and their nets. The Diamonds and Triangles are learning about Chance and Probability.

Today we visited the local library and each child found a book to take back to class. They learned how to use the self check out system and how to search for books.
We will keep our books in class and use them to discuss characterisation, make predictions, author discussions and practise our summarising skills.
