By watching videos, P6 learned how to react to someone who is suffering from a cardiac arrest. We discussed how the heart works normally and how a cardiac arrest could occur. Using mannequins, pupils were able to try administering chest compressions\u00a0 using the anagram DRS ABC<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>D &#8211; Check for Danger<\/li>\n<li>R &#8211; Are they responding?<\/li>\n<li>S &#8211; Shout for help.<\/li>\n<li>A &#8211; Clear the Airways.<\/li>\n<li>B &#8211; Check for breathing.<\/li>\n<li>C &#8211; Call 999 for an ambulance and begin chest
