We’ve had a busy first week back, full of lots of outdoor learning, art and focusing on talking about how we feel about being back at school and all our new routines.<\/p>\n

Outdoor Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEM Catapult challenge – we worked in small groups using a range of materials to design and make a catapult. We tested our designs to see how successful we were.<\/p>\n

Art – Colour Mixing <\/strong><\/p>\n

We have been learning about the colour wheel. We enjoyed mixing the primary colours to create the secondary colours.<\/p>\n

Art – Marbling<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have been learning a new art technique –\u00a0 Japanese Suminagashi paper marbling. The word Suminagashi translates to \u2018floating ink\u2019 We mixed a range of inks with water to create our own marbling designs.<\/p>\n
