Our final art project of the year has been junk modelling. We worked in groups to create a 3D model of a theme park ride! Very impressive!

Dissolving!

We have been investigating dissolving in Science this term. We started by conducting 4 different jelly experiments and we found some interesting results. Next we conducted an experiment using both hot and cold water and checked to see what substances would dissolve in them. We tested coffee, sand, salt and gravy.  Here we are our results using our thumbs up or thumbs down for dissolved or not!

Coding!

We have been learning how important coding is within the world of work. We have started to develop our coding skills by programming be-bot online. We had to safely direct be-bot to a particular location by entering the correct code. We enjoyed the activity and are looking forward to  more challenges.

Spring has Sprung!

Primary 3 are very proud of their performance within the Spring Service. We worked hard to learn all our songs and speaking words and performed with loud speaking voices on stage. We hope the parents and visitors enjoyed it all.

Open Afternoon Mummies!

We thoroughly enjoyed our second Primary 3 open afternoon. It was great to have so many visitors to help us make our mummies. We also made a sarcophagus for our mummies to be placed into. We decorated our sarcophagus with hieroglyphics and we love how they have turned out!

February!

We have had a very busy month of February. We have been learning lots of new information about The Egyptians. We have been writing imaginative  stories about an exciting trip to The Valley of the Kings! We have also a created a great display which has involved us in making 3D shapes as well as using various artistic skills such as line and form. Within Mathematics we have been working hard  on learning all our multiplication tables off by heart. In Science we have been experimenting with magnets and haven made a magnetic fishing game. Here we are playing our games.
