P5 entered the classroom to find it had turned into an escape room! Armed with only a locked phone and 8 clues, we had to work together to solve a variety of maths problems. The clues would give us the password to unlock the phone and escape!

We read graphs, directions, solved calculations and applied place value and problem solving strategies to find the clues. We had so much fun revising maths skills and we can’t wait for the next one. Everyone supported one another and checked their answers before posting them away to b checked.. The last group out managed to escape with over 5 minutes to spare – impressive! Congratulations to our winning group who won themselves a Scribbler animal rubber of their choice!
